More Australia...

Day 7: Dion worked so, I just stayed back at the house and chilled most of the day. Gina and I ate lunch and talked for a few hours about random things. It was a pretty relaxed day. Dion got back and we probably watched a movie... But I can't remember. Ha. Maybe I should update more often so I don't forget everything. Ha.

Day 8: I went out shopping with Dion's sisters Yolana and Cheri. It was super fun! We went to this outdoor shopping type of place. It was a good day of shopping. After that we went to the Plaza and shopped there for a bit. Then we went back to the house and when Dion came home we went out to eat and sat out by the river. It was a good night! 

Day 9: Today I was super lazy... Dion worked and I didn't really feel like getting ready for the day. So, I stayed in my PJ's almost all day. I did some laundry. I ate lunch with Gina and we talked for a few hours again. Finally around 4 I decided to get ready for the day. Dion came over at about 5. We were both tired so we stayed in. 

Day 10: Vernee came and picked me up and went over to Jodi's house. We chilled over there... Talked, watched Growing Pains, ate food, etc.. It was super fun! Dion got home at like 2ish. We stayed over at Jodi's and talked and just hung out. Then Dion, Jodi, Tyler, and I went out to eat at Outback. I love that place. But by the time the food came out we were all tired and not really hungry. So, we didn't eat much. It was a good day though.

Day 11: Today we went into the city to see the Harbor Bridge and the Opera House. It was super fun, but super tiring... Lots and lots of walking. Dion, Stacey, and I met up with Yolana, her friend, and a guy from Utah. It was nice not being the only one talking different. I'm not a big fan of talking different from everyone. Ha. Anyway, We went to the Aquarium and it was pretty neat. It was super cool to see sharks swimming above you. Oh and I actually got to ride public transportation. That's a first for me. I rode the train and the bus. It was pretty cool!

Day 12: Sunday! Went to church! It was good... Don't ask me what any lessons or talks were about cause I wasn't paying attention at all today. Ha. After church came back to the house... Changed... Went to the doctors with Dion... Since he's been sick. Poor boy! After that we came home and had dinner... Then went to a Young Single Adult thing. That was pretty fun. And now I'm back at the house writing this. Ha.

Day 4: So, day four was Saturday! And I got ready for the day and went to Dion's soccer game! It was pretty fun. He made a goal... Which I missed... Yeah, he won't let me forget that. After the game we went back to Gina's house and got all ready to go out shopping for Mother's Day. It was a pretty fun day!

Day 5: We went to church. It was nice. The ward is so much smaller than the wards in Utah. I thought my ward was small... But now I know it's not small compared to here. Dion and I taught Primary. Well, Dion did and I sat and watched. We got to teach his nephew Caleb. He is such a funny kid! After church we went back to Gina's house and I skyped with my family. It was super fun. Then at 5ish Most of Dion's family came over to celebrate Mother's Day. His family is definitely way bigger than mine. Ha. But it was fun meeting most of them. First picture below is from Day 3 when Dion was working. The other 2 are from Day 5 during the Mother's Day Celebration...

Day 6: Dion came and picked me up and took me to Featherdale Wild Life Park. It was soooo much fun. I got to pet animals even though I'm a freakin scary cat about it. Ha. Just ask Dion he'll tell you how scared I am of animals. I love animals but from a distance. Ha. They had sooo many animals running around that place it freaked me out. Especially those huge Emu's that wanted to eat me... After we went there we went shopping then went back to Gina's and had dinner. After dinner we chilled in the tv room. Which was a lot of fun. We joked around a lot and laughed a lot. It was really fun. We had Family Home Evening with Gina's family. It was so much fun. I really like their family. Family Home Evening was a blast... Lots of laughs. I'm really enjoying it here a lot and getting more and more comfortable. The pictures below are from the Wild Life Park... I have more on facebook if you care to see more.

Australia

So, Australia has been amazing! I don't have any pictures yet, but don't worry I'll get some soon. I'll let you all know what's been going on so far...

Day 1:
Got picked up at the airport by Dion... We then went to the beach. We walked along the rocks. It was super pretty. And yes we had our first kiss there at the beach. We got rained on so we left. I met some of his family. And I went to bed early that night since I was super super tired.

Day 2:
Dion came over to his sisters house that I'm staying at. We chilled for a bit started watching a movie then went out to lunch with his parents and some of his siblings. We then went shopping with his sister Vernee. That was really fun. After we went back to his sister Gina's house (the one I'm staying with) and had dinner. Then Vernee colored my hair! We had to take Dion to his sister Jodi's house since he had to work the next morning. After that I came back to the house and went to bed.

Day 3:
I got up at 6:30 for the second time in a row... Apparently I'm a morning person now. I got ready for the day and skyped with my family. After that I went out with Dion's sister Shan a couple of her kids and a couple of Gina's kids and went to this play place called Lollipops. It was way fun. After we went out to lunch and went back to Shan's place for a bit. Then we went back to Gina's house and now I'm watching movies until Dion gets off of work.

So, there's a brief update about me so far. I'll be more detailed in the future and have pics up and all.

SCHOOL'S OUT FOREVER!!!!

So, school is FINALLY over! I'm so excited about that. I've been dying for it to be over. I have one more day left of work! That's exciting too! I leave this Monday for Australia! Life is going good! I can't wait to finally be with Dion! It doesn't seem like it's finally almost here! Don't worry I'll be updating my blog regularly while I'm out there. Lots of pictures and all! Well, that's all I have to say for now...

Here I am once again complaining about life... But seriously life is just so dang hard sometimes. School sucks... I just don't want to do anything anymore. Blah! And the main think that sucks sooooo much is being away from Dion. I never thought something could be this hard... But it's slowly killing... I hate the stupid time difference and hardly talking to him at all. Sometimes I just wish my life could be a tad bit easy for just ONE day... One day is all I ask! It seems to me that my life has always been difficult and I always have some trial in my life... And it just sucks... Maybe it's just my negative attitude... Actually I'm pretty certain it is my attitude. I've always been a negative one... But sometimes I like being negative... Happy people are annoying anyway... Well, that's all I've got to say for now...

Life

So, it's been a while since I've posted a blog... Dion is home from his mission now! :) I'm super excited about that! Now I can talk to him everyday! Which is nice. We're going to start skyping soon! He just need to get a microphone! I can't wait for that! Skype is seriously one of the best inventions ever! I love it! I leave in exactly 7 week to go to Australia! I'm sooooo excited! It can't come soon enough! School is still the same for me... Lots of work... But it's slowly dying down. After March I won't be so busy with homework. Which will be soooo nice! I can't wait to be done with school! That's pretty much it with me for now!

Genetic Treasures...

Ry and Lills were here this weekend! It's always super fun when they're here. I'm going to share a few highlights of the weekend with them...
Being in preschool and all I sing children songs ALL DAY LONG! Which I don't mind cause I've always loved children songs. I've decided to teach Ry and Lilly some of the songs I'm learning in preschool. So, a month or so ago I started singing the song "Slippery Fish" with them. Ry seemed to sorta know the song... So, I'm guessing he learned it in preschool. But he LOVES the songs and watching him sing it is super cute. Here's a video of him singing "Slippery Fish"...




So, I was telling Ry about how I was going to Australia. Don't remember how it came up, but we just started talking about it. He was really getting into it. He wanted to see pictures of it. So, I got on the internet and started showing him Australia. He really wants to see gators and snakes in Australia. We then started watching videos about Australia on youtube, he LOVED it! The whole night he was going around about how he was going to visit "Tralia". Lilly then decided that she too wanted to go to "Tralia". Ry and Lilly then started yelling at each other and fighting. For a while we couldn't figure out why they were fighting. After a while I figured out they were fighting about if you had to ride an airplane or not to "Tralia". Ry and Lilly recently went to San Diego and had to ride an airplane Lilly didn't like it at all. Ry was telling Lilly that they would ride an airplane and Lilly was yelling at Ry that they weren't going to ride an airplane. We had to tell Lilly that she would have to ride an airplane to go to Australia. She still didn't agree with us. Then I asked her how she would get there. I asked her if she was going to swim there. Eventually she agreed to ride an airplane. Here the video of their fight...




Sunday in Sharing Time we were talking about how Jesus died and was resurrected. Ry didn't know Jesus died... I guess we didn't ever share that information with him. He became super sad. The whole rest of church he kept saying, "Jesus died?" I tried to explain he came alive again... But he wasn't getting it. Poor little boy. When they took Ry back home the first thing he said to her was, "Jesus died..." and staring crying about it. Good luck to Kim to explain things to him. Ha!

That was the highlight of my weekend with the cute little genetic treasures! Ha! Just so all you know I call children genetic treasures! :)
