Lucky and Blessed

I'm seriously so lucky and blessed! I have the best husband in the world, even though he drives me nuts sometimes... I have the sweetest, smartest, caring little boy in the world! This has been our conversation many times today... "Me: Hello, my handsome boy! Tavin: Hello, mommy gorgeous!" He seriously melts my heart!

This year I have set some goals for 2014. Some I have been slacking on already, some I haven't even started, and some I think I've been doing been dang good at. I'm really trying to have a more positive attitude, especially when it comes to pregnancy. Don't get me wrong I am excited for all my friends and family to get pregnant... But it also was constant reminders that I was not pregnant, and I hated feeling like that. This year I have decided to stop being selfish and thinking about myself. I'm doing everything I can to be getting pregnant and crying about is not going to make it happen faster. I've been doing lots of praying and fasting and have come to know that things will work out for me. This waiting game still sucks, but I know it will be my turn again one day! Now, I'm still not perfect with my attitude, but I'm become pretty good at catching it and quickly changing it for a more positive one! So... To all my friends and family out there who are pregnant.... Congrats and sorry for not being as supportive as I should have been! :) 

Update Overload...

Well, I sure suck at blogging... Anyway, I want to try and keep up with it. Don't get your hopes up though. I've always been horrible at writing, my journal proves it.

Tavin Update: Tavin is almost 2! Yep... That's right 2! Wednesday is his birthday! It's crazy how fast it's gone! My little boy isn't so little anymore! Tavin has turned into a super bright little man. He can count to 10! He knows his shapes and colors! His speech is really good! He definitely doesn't get his smarts from me. His favorite things to watch at the moments are... Peppa Pig, Hi-5, The Tigger Movie, Toy Story, and Cars. Tavin loves singing and dancing! He picks up on lyrics really fast! His favorite things to do are... play with balls, playing with trains and cars, drive his car, and watch tv! Tavin is a super energetic kid. He's always going. He's very happy and always smiling! I'm so lucky to have such a wonderful kid! I'm very thankful to my Father in Heaven for blessing Dion and I with him!

Dion Update: Dion just had his birthday this past Wednesday! He's now the big 25! What an oldie! :) He's still working at Corinthian Doors. He would really like to own his own business one day!

Whitney Update: Nothing really new with me! Just staying busy watching my little man! I have started up selling Scentsy! I'm really excited about that! Dion and I have been trying for another child for almost a year. It has been a bit hard on me, but I know I am lucky with having Tavin. I think about all the other people who don't even have one child or who have been trying much longer than me and think I have nothing to complain about. Just hate hearing all the people ask when the next will come along. Or all the jokes people make when Tavin's whining, "Ohhh is Whitney pregnant?" Anyway... Enough about that... That's pretty much all the update on us!

1 Year!!!!!

I can't believe Dion and I have been married for 1 year! It's gone by so fast, yet it seems like we've been together for a long time... To celebrate we went out to eat and came home and watched Gnomeo and Juliet! It was a good day! It was fun to celebrate our 1 year with Tavin! Who would have thought we'd have such a sweet little baby on our 1 year anniversary! It's been a great year! I seriously have the best husband ever! He's super amazing and so good to me! :) I love you Dion! Here are a few pics from our special day! :)

Tavin Rolling Over

Here is a video of Tavin rolling over! One day we were sitting on the bed talking and Tavin was on his tummy... All of a sudden he rolled over. We thought it happened because of us sitting and making it easy for him to roll over, so we didn't think much of it. Then later on we had him on the table on his tummy and he rolled over. He was 5 week and 1 day old when he rolled! We were so proud of him! :)
